  A piece of inestimable sentimental value to me as it is the FIRST of the Mazarol series.

  Main characteristic: It is the very first of all the characters in the legends and, of course, the first of the Mazarols.

  Basically, this is the piece that will have the absolute highest value.

• Origin: Folklore of the Dolomite Valleys (Italy)
• Type/Species: Sylvan Creature / Spirit of the Woods / Goblin/Gnome-like figure

• Typical Habitat: Dense forests, hidden paths, and high-altitude pastures of the Dolomites.

DISTINCTIVE TRAITS

• Physical Appearance: Described as a small man (or gnome-like figure) with a wild and sturdy appearance. Almost always wears simple clothes, often bright red (especially a hood or cap). His most notable feature is his disproportionately large feet, which leave unmistakable footprints on damp ground or snow.
• Behavior: Extremely shy and solitary, prefers to avoid contact with humans. Considered more mischievous than evil. Rarely speaks, communicating through his actions and, above all, his tracks.
• Distinguishing Marks: His huge footprints. Those who follow them risk getting lost or being led off the path, but in some variations of the legend, following them can also lead to the discovery of secret places or, for the lucky few, the learning of ancient arts (like cheesemaking).
